How to get started on those great Concopian Conversations
How to play:
1. Gather a group of max 6 players. The more varied in age, interests and beliefs the better. Shuffle the cards and place them on the table, blue patterns facing upwards.
2. As the game master, you show the way by drawing the first card. Read the question out loud and show the illustration to the others. The story on the other side is optional – but often inspirational. Don’t worry about taking your time to reflect – this quiet time allows the other players to think about their own perspectives.
3. Now, share your perspective for a few minutes without the others interrupting or commenting. Set an example by sharing something they haven’t heard from you before.
4. Now, place your card on the table with the illustration facing upwards and allow the next player to draw a new card and repeat.
5. Continue this way for a few rounds until there is about 20 minutes left. Finish the round and then start the final round.
6. Now, everyone points to a card on the table that someone else talked about and shares what came to mind while they were listening.
7. Once the final round is over, everyone is free to talk, comment, dive deeper, share more perspectives and build on the diverging threads.
