Join the Concopian Conversation
Every month we are hosting virtual conversation salons. Our 90-minute video experiences mix inspirational talks, conversations in break out rooms and various Concopian experiments where we aim to make the virtual meetings more sensual and poetic.
After the first series of six salons we’re now taking a summer break.

Some of the most interesting conversations we have ever had were with strangers that we randomly met in a train or on a bench in a park.
Such meetings often spark the greatest conversations because you feel free to be the best version of yourself – and have to explicitly explain your views and where you are coming from.
With our virtual Conversation Salons we hope to recreate some of that magic when Concopians around globe gather for a few hours to explore Concopia Cards and each other’s minds.
As a guest we hope you’ll have a fun and inspiring experience that allows you to explore the cards, connect across borders and get informally introduced to Concopian thinking.
For us the monthly salons are our living laboratory. This is where we get to meet a lot of you even if you live on the other side of the globe. Also: it’s a great way to constantly challenge ourselves to create new formats, ideas and experiments.
We love to host big parties, formal dinners and conferences where the guests meet in person and use Concopia Cards to dive deeper than the usual small talk. However – there is a certain magic to our virtual video-salons where guests are able to join no matter where they live – and share a common experience across time zones.

How does it work?
A Conversation Salon is a space where we meet to have enlightening conversations about topics and questions that can otherwise be hard to address. It is also a chance to break out of our echo chambers and meet people with different views and perspectives.
The salon will be hosted by Concopia co-founder and salonnière Nadja Pass.
During the salon she will probe your thinking with short inspirational speeches and then spark conversations among the guests. Most of the conversations between the guests will be in break out rooms with two or three people but sometimes we experiment and introduce other formats.
There are no right or wrong answers – it’s a chance to explore our differences and learn from one another.
When & How
The times and days of the week will be changing to accommodate to the many different timezones we live in. For now Sundays seem to work best across the time-zones but we’re looking into other options and all input is highly appreciated.
It’s free to join and you don’t need a deck of Concopia Cards to come along.
But the number of “seats” is limited and you will need to register in advance. The times, dates and booking links will be announced in our newsletter, in the Facebook group Concopia and @concopiacards on Instagram.
Concopia cofounder Nadja Pass is an experienced salonnière who has hosted many big conferences, dinners and events.
